I would like to extend you a warm welcome through the website of St Peter’s School.
St Peter’s School, a 107 year old institution was founded in 1904 during the British era and has witnessed the birth of the Indian Nation. It is nestled 4500 ft above sea level, in the picturesque hills of Panchgani, in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra.
A residential school for boys, it is spread over 54 acres. It synchronizes the best of all cultures, opening its doors to all communities of the world, offering equal opportunities. It is affiliated to the I.C.S.E Council offering quality education from classes 3 to 10.
At St Peter’s we epitomize student based learning. With a conducive environment, the students are offered ample opportunities to sharpen their skills of problem solving, creative thinking, time management and decision making.
Academic excellence, upholding traditional values, knowledge of Indian culture and a command over the English language enables students to feel at home in any national or international scenario.
Emphasis is laid on discipline, etiquette and confidence-building and the students are inspired to excel in sporting and co-curricular activities.
Environmental awareness is an integral part of our academic programme. Our students regularly attend 2/3 day syllabus/curricular based eco-camps to inculcate in them these important values. We are also forging long-term bonds with the top schools in Finland, Denmark and Itally with regular student / teacher exchange study visits. This is to foster global collaborative experiential learning. Our teachers get an opportunity to enhance and widen their skills. Our students experience peer-to-peer bonding that will birth fertile links in the future.
On behalf of St Peter’s family, I invite you to explore our website and accept an invitation to visit the school, observe our facilities and meet our staff.
I look forward to meeting you soon.
Ut Prosim!!
Ms Sangita James
Principal.
